Express Yourself wins Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce Inspiring Business Award

Our non-profit organization, Express Yourself, has won the GBCC Inspiring Business Award for our work during the lockdown with youth and families.

From March 2020 through 2021, we pivoted from our on-site studio model to create an exciting 1-1 arts immersion program and unconditional care model collaborating with more than 325 youth. Over 3500+ Art Boxes to Go were hand delivered for both one to one and small group programming.

The team of youth, staff and guest artists worked tirelessly toward what eventually became a special virtual drive-in performance that was live streamed and hosted at the North Shore Music Theatre. There were 350 attendees in person along with 3,449 devices in 10 countries. Ricky Duran from the Voice joined the youth in their virtual performance and surprised all as a special guest at the family event. The ImagineNation drive in was one of the first events to be held as covid restrictions opened.

Congratulations to all the Inspiring Stories and Heroes of 2020 and we look forward to the upcoming celebration.
