ExYo Says Goodbye to a Very Special Friend š¾
Charlie was our studio therapy dog, both anĀ emotional support andĀ friend to all atĀ Express Yourself. With great pleasureĀ and a wagging tale, heĀ welcomed kidsĀ that may have been hesitant to come into the studio for the first time.Ā āWhereās Charlie.āĀ was sometimes the first greeting we heard.Ā AsĀ the official greeter he welcomed VIPS including Senator Joan Lovely, Blue Man Group, STOMPĀ and special guest artists.Ā
AsĀ kids gathered theirĀ chairs for their circle he would walk around and greet each and every one.Ā He was very patient as he was fitted for Halloween costumes, birthday party hats and other artistic whims that made people laugh.Ā Ā CharlieĀ has appeared in several productionsĀ as part of the cast on the Wang Center Stage inĀ photo montages and process films- always getting a great round of applause. Ā
On weekends Charlie was a Middlebury Menās Soccer Fan and never missed a game. He was a loveable sweet guy that we will never forget. Ā He is smiling down on all the Express Yourself kids and remembers all the fun they had together.Ā Ā
