Total Eclipse of the Art
Like most of the nation, the staff at Express Yourself were very excited to view the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st. Using creativity, our studio art supplies, and some helpful youtube tutorials, we built four large pinhole projectors for viewing the eclipse. We anxiously watched the clock and the live NASA broadcast as the moon approached. Out in the Cummings Center parking lot, our viewers were a huge hit as passersby borrowed them to share in the experience. It was a wonderful day of community and joy.
