A Rocking ExYo Fundraiser with Ricky Duran

Express Yourself celebrated an incredible evening with friends, families, and supporters on Friday night at the North Shore Music Theatre. This 30th anniversary fundraiser kicked off with opening act Francoix Simard, who charmed the audience with his charismatic personality and versatile music style.

During a short intermission, fans supported Express Yourself by purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets and bidding on silent auction baskets, graciously put together by our 30th anniversary committee.

Headliner Ricky Duran dazzled the audience with his soulful vocals and fiery guitar playing, featuring original songs interspersed with crowd favorites. The band’s energy was electric and Co-Director Stan Strickland wowed the audience as a special guest artist bringing down the house.

The show concluded with a video tribute to the youth of Express Yourself, with the band joining in on “Let It Be”. The evening felt like an intimate and healing experience for the audience.
