This week, Dr. Lindsey Cantin, a research scientist from New England Biolabs, joined our Girls Group for an exciting exploration of the microscopic world! Using different-sized microscopes, the girls got a close-up look at fascinating organisms, studying the intricate patterns and shapes that exist all around us. Reflecting on what they saw, the girls created their own artistic interpretations using oil pastels and watercolor resists – combining creativity with scientific discovery.
