ExYo Youth Emerge with Resilience
This week we wrap up youth programming for the 2020-2021, after a full year of a challenging pandemic. We are incredibly proud of our youth for all they have accomplished in this past year of obstacles and uncertainty and see that they have emerged with resiliency and a sense of joy for their accomplishments. Youth stepped up to creative challenges and came together as a cohesive community both virtually and, on a smaller scale, at the studio. Our new 1-1 programming was the glue that held our organization together and staff and youth formed a bond that will carry over as we enter the studio in the fall. Youth and their families offered words of gratitude as we move ahead together. Although we all faced difficulty, there was a lot to be grateful for, and the many things that we have learned will be carried over to our creative response to collaborating with youth in the future.
