Looking through the lens of the EXYO Mentors
While spending a lot of time inside our home this past year, we think we know just about every nook and cranny. Inspired by photographer Yorch Miranda, the ExYo mentors have re-imagined their familiar spaces into surreal escapes with an artful perspective. Exploring optical illusions, the teens transported themselves into new worlds where creativity has no bounds.
The mentors took on another photographic point of view through the eyes of someone they look up to. The confident teens took turns role playing their new characters, exploring what they would see through the eyes of a celebrity.
In an overwhelmingly digital world, the mentors were tasked with the challenge of creating these new dimensions without using photoshop. Using their own creative process these unique and other worldly photos were captured.
