Welcome Back!
We are very excited to welcome our youth back to the Express Yourself studio from their summer programming. After a summer of activity, the studio is alive with the energy and excitement of our youth. September got rolling with groups participating in team building games, music, movement, and visual arts. Last week, our multi-arts groups created artist trading cards as a way for youth to share their artistic voices with the studio community. This week they have started working on some larger pieces of art that will go towards our set designs for the end of the year show at the Wang Theater on May 31st. It is great to see so many familiar faces and we are also excited to get to know the new youth in our programs. We look forward to a great year of creativity, community, and inclusion!
