Total Eclipse of the Art
Like most of the nation, the youth and staff at Express Yourself were very excited to view the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th. Fitted out with official eclipse glasses and using creativity, our studio art supplies, and some helpful YouTube tutorials, we built a pinhole projector for viewing the eclipse. We anxiously watched the clock and the live NASA broadcast as the moon approached. Though some might say it was EXYO PLANET that crossed in front of the sun. Out in the Cummings Center parking lot viewers shared in the experience. It was a wonderful day of community and joy.
