We continue on….!
Setting their intentions for peace as the inspiration and foundation of their individually made clay tiles, youth continue bringing their peace visions to life by painting vibrant color they have created. Once all tiles have been painted, they will be mounted onto large wooden structures. Tucked in the center of the post are heartfelt wishes, written on a small paper scroll, reflecting the hopes of each young tile maker. These vibrant, beautiful Peace Posts will come together in a moving exhibition, carrying wishes for hope and peace into the world, reminding us that Pure Kid Joy is essential, and possible!
This project was inspired by Milwaukee Artist Muneer Bahauddeen who has created peace posts around the world.
