Sights and Sounds of Essex Tech
Express Yourself collaborated on a special project with Essex Northshore Agricultural and Technical School. Artist-in-residence, Carlos Thomas from STOMP lead the students in original choreography with visiting guest artists from the cast of STOMP. ENSATS programs throughout the school are highlighted with youth creating STOMP-like rhythms that turned the everyday sounds into a celebration.
Students created rhythms with water bottles and performed live center stage with the cast members of STOMP. The exciting video and performance was featured in our annual performance center stage at the Boch Center Wang Theater in May 2023, cheered on with friends and family.
